DevOps Engineer

Offbeat Infotech is looking for a DevOps engineer with the ability to collaborate with both development and operations teams with a focus on build and deployment automation.
Hiring: On an immediate basis

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop a continuous deployment pipeline, integrating Chef, Test-Kitchen, GitHub, Jenkins, VMware workstation, and Docker for a wide range of server types across geographically separated zones hosted infrastructure.
Implement CI/CD in projects (GitLabCI) • Source Code Management (SCM) using tools, e.g. Github (with Git workflows) / Bitbucket.
Enable software build and deploy using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, CodeDeploy, Docker Repository.
Architect highly available and scalable services leveraging open source technologies.
Provisioning both day to day operations and automation using tools, e.g. Ansible, Puppet or Chef, Ruby, JavaScript, InSpec, Bash, PowerShell.
Write, plan, create infra as a code using Terraform.
Ensure team collaboration using Jira, Confluence and other tools.
Building environments for unit tests, integration tests, system tests, and acceptance tests.
Do application management service using OpsWorks.
Create and spin off resource instances using Cloudformation
Job Prerequisites

5 years of experience in hands-on DevOps engineering.
Experience in Azure/ AWS/ GCP.
Hands-on experience with in Kubernetes and Docker in large scale Public Cloud Environments.
Good understanding of design of native Cloud applications.
Ability to quickly learn new any existing technologies Strong problem solving skills Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Should have expert Linux and Network administration skills to troubleshoot and trace symptoms back to the root cause.
Strong understanding and experienced operating hybrid environments.
Experience using a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services. • Experience with infrastructure automation solutions (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
